Our new beginning at Ambler has begun. This
move is neither out of selfish ambition nor greed. Rather, our intention for this
change is two-fold: for more efficient ministry and for the sake of next
generation.
Our hearts may be teemed with a plethora of
emotions as we offer our first worship to God because we have just left behind
our beloved 28-year-old church and this "new" place where stand today
is still in need of much renovation. But our hearts are also ever convinced
that the Lord has brought us thus far. The same divine providence, I believe,
has led the Kingdom Life Church as well.
I am reminded of Caleb, who forfeited his
rights to better portion of the land, asked instead for Hebron where the
descendants of Anak the giant dwelt, in accordance with the Lord's promise.
I am also emphatically reminded of Caleb's unswerving faith which,
through the 45 years of wilderness journey, cried out, "Give me this hill
country!" Let that be our prayer and
proclamation today.
