¡°¡¦ Enthroned on the Praises of Israel¡± (Psalm 22:3). God sits on the throne of praise. What kind of praises would God place on His throne? The heavenly hosts already praise God with beautiful praises. What praise on earth could possible be better?
Surprisingly, Psalm 22 starts with the prayer of sighs and groans because of rejection from God. ¡°My God, my God why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning? O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer, and by night, but I find no rest.¡±
But suddenly, the psalmist praises God singing, ¡°Yet You are holy.¡± He praises God even though He rejected his prayer. Praise in the midst of trouble- this praise is the throne on which God sits.
